Activity programs promoting autonomy and socialization

We offer a diverse range of services dedicated to supporting families with young people or adults with intellectual disabilities, with or without autism spectrum disorder. Our primary commitment is to break isolation by offering activity programs aimed at promoting autonomy and socialization.

Day Respite

Day Respite offers a welcome break for parents while providing their loved one with a safe and stimulating environment. Our program is designed to meet the needs of each participant, offering a variety of activities tailored to their interests and abilities. With a dedicated, qualified and diverse team, we are committed to providing an enriching and safe experience for everyone, while providing valuable support to families.

Our Day Respite is an oasis of stimulating activities, tailor-made to meet the needs of your loved one. With hours Saturday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (Closed Fridays)

From art to music to interactive games, each activity is carefully tailored to stimulate your loved one’s development. We personalize each experience based on their needs and abilities, ensuring they fully enjoy their time with us.

Daily Rate for users 2 for 1: $35. Daily Rate for users 1 for 1: $ 45. The ratio will be determinated after the observation.

To ensure your loved one’s comfort and well-being, please provide the following items: medications with prior authorization, weather-appropriate clothing, diaper (if necessary), sanitary pads (if necessary), and a complete change of clothes. Be sure to mark all personal items with the participant’s name.

Night Respite

Night Respite offers a welcome break from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon for parents while providing their loved one with a safe and stimulating environment for the weekend.

Our program is designed to meet the needs of each participant during the day and night, including accommodation and balanced meals adapted to promote health and enjoy the weekend.

Our night respite is offered once a month on average, we offer various stimulating activities, to meet the needs of your loved one. The dates for each period (April to March) will be communicated by the administration before the start of the period so that you can book the dates for your loved one. In addition, any additional respite availability will be communicated to you by email, phone or on our website.

From arts to cooking, exercise, movie nights to interactive games, each activity is carefully tailored to stimulate your loved one’s development. We personalize each experience based on their needs and abilities, ensuring they fully enjoy their time with us.

In order to ensure the comfort and well-being of your loved one during the nightly respite, be sure to provide the necessary personal belongings: medications, if applicable, with prior authorization, clothes for the day spent with us, pajamas, personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, soap and shampoo, bedding items such as a blanket and pillow, Clothing suitable for outdoor weather conditions such as a raincoat or winter, and comfortable shoes for indoors.

Do not forget to include the participant’s name on all your personal items to avoid confusion.

Summer Camp

The summer camp offers fun moments to your loved one from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. for a duration of 6 to 7 weeks at St. Lucia Park. You can choose a maximum of 4 weeks.

The dates and registration form for the summer camp will be communicated by the administration, the first week of February so that you can reserve the dates for your loved one.

After that, we will confirm the booking of the dates. The registration form also includes the possibility to purchase La Ressource Respite House jerseys and helmets for your loved one.

We organize fun outings, plastic art, cooking recipes, sports, scientific experiments and learning activities.

Each activity is carefully designed to stimulate participants’ development.

We customize each experience to suit their needs and abilities, ensuring they get the most out of their time with us.

In addition, please include food that does not require heating, a helmet, a water bottle, a swimsuit, and pool essentials such as a towel and flip-flops.

Winter Camp

The Winter Camp offers respite and moments of fun for your loved one for a week in December during the holiday season. Our program is designed to meet the needs of each participant with diverse activities for an enjoyable holiday week, including artistic, culinary, scientific, and other activities. With a dedicated, qualified, and diverse team, we are committed to providing an enriching and safe experience for everyone.

Our Winter Camp is offered for 4 or 5 days on december from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

The dates and the registration form for the Winter Camp will be communicated by the administration the first week of October before the start of the camp so that you can reserve the dates for your loved one. After that, we will confirm the reservation of the dates.

Pre-Regsitration

Here are the four steps for our pre-registrations process

2. Pre-Registration Form

Be sure to provide accurate and complete information

3. Observation Day

Following analysis of the pre-registration form, we will organize one or two days of paid observation to assess the participant's eligibility.

4. Service Contract

Once the observation is completed and your loved one is approved, the service contract will be signed.
